Job Description
Key responsibilities:
Organize, scanvalidate client information for tax return preparation Develop a working knowledge of tax preparation processes and software Shadow team members on special projects to gain insight into firm operations Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities Stay informed on changes in tax laws and regulations Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and confidentiality Possible exposure to audit and attest services Participate in additional firm activities and events as assignedPreferred Qualifications:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or master's in accounting, Finance or Taxation Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week throughout the internship program CPA exam eligibility preferred Minimum GPA of 3.0 with a strong academic track record Relevant/prior work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs) Proficiency with computers; knowledge of accounting software is a plus Ability to prioritize, manage multiple assignments, and work effectively in a team Strong work ethic with a willingness to take on new challenges Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilitiesPerks Include :
