Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
AIA Billing Management:
Lead end-to-end AIA billing workflows, including preparingG702/G703
forms, coordinating with Project Managers and clients, and tracking draw schedules.Core Accounting Operations:
Process accounts payable and receivable, issue invoices, and complete account reconciliations.Financial Reporting & Job Costing:
Maintain the general ledger, job costing records, and work-in-progress (WIP) reports with precision.Subscription & Service Invoicing:
Administer recurring billing for MSP, HWaaS, and Microsoft licensing agreements.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Project Managers and Operations to ensure billing aligns with Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Services Agreements (MSAs), and contracts.AR & Collections:
Monitor client payment cycles, address delinquencies, and support collections efforts as needed.Period-End Close:
Prepare month-end close schedules and financial reporting packages for executive leadership.Compliance & Audits:
Coordinate with external CPAs for annual audits and year-end compliance reporting.Time & Schedule Management:
Coordinate employee scheduling, monitor time tracking for accurate project allocation, and support payroll processing workflows.Required Qualifications Experience:
3-5+ years of accounting experience, with a heavy emphasis on project-based billing.Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Excel.Accounting Knowledge:
Solid understanding of job costing, deferred revenue, and amortized billing structures.Attributes:
Exceptional attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a high standard for financial integrity.Communication:
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.Work Location:
100% on-site presence required at the Manchester, CT office (Monday-Friday). AIA Expertise (Preferred): Demonstrated hands-on experience with AIA billing applications (G702/G703). Subscription Billing (Preferred): Familiarity with Microsoft NCE billing or HWaaS subscription models is a strong plus.What We Offer Impact & Visibility:
