Full Job Description Position Overview:
Provides patient-centered nursing care in a collaborative, diverse environment under the supervision of the Nurse Manager. Utilizes evidence-based practices, the nursing process, and standards of care to develop personalized plans addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans. Implement nursing interventions aligned with policies, procedures, and medical directives. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care. Respond promptly to on-call duties, maintaining a response within 30 minutes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Current CT RN licensure and graduate of an accredited nursing program. Knowledge of nursing processes and customer service principles. Preferred certifications include BLS (mandatory), ACLS for specific units, and specialty certifications. Experience in acute care settings, IV skills, and secondary language skills are advantageous.
