As they continue expanding, they are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Accountant to join their finance team.

Position SummaryThe Project Accountant plays a key role in supporting the financial management of construction projects from initiation through completion. This position partners closely with project managers and operational teams to ensure accurate project costing, timely billing, and effective financial reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage financial performance of assigned construction projects.

Track project costs, commitments, and budgets to ensure financial accuracy.

Prepare and process client billings, including progress billings and change orders.

Maintain detailed project cost reports and job cost tracking.

Assist project managers with budget forecasting and financial analysis.

Review subcontractor invoices and ensure compliance with contract terms.

Support month-end and year-end close processes related to project accounting.

Reconcile project accounts and investigate discrepancies.
