Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage invoice processing and vendor payment activities to support accounts payable operations with accuracy and timeliness.
- Record financial transactions and prepare journal entries to keep the general ledger current and organized.
- Monitor incoming payments and assist with accounts receivable tracking to promote accurate cash application.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve outstanding items promptly.
- Review accounting data for completeness and accuracy while helping maintain reliable financial documentation.
- Support routine month-end accounting tasks and contribute to the preparation of internal financial records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address transaction issues, clarify account activity, and improve workflow efficiency. Requirements
- Experience supporting accounting functions in areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity.
- Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Ability to complete bank reconciliations and investigate variances with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in managing financial records and transaction documentation.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with changing priorities and recurring deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
