Job Description:
Senior Staff Accountant - The Senior Staff Accountant will support the accounting and finance functions by performing complex accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls. This role is ideal for a high-performing accounting professional looking to learn and grow within the company. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed Assist with special projects and system/process improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required) CPA license a plus or actively pursuing CPA certification (CPA track supported) 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards Experience with general ledger systems and ERP software Advanced Excel skills; exposure to financial reporting tools a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Preferred Experience Public accounting or audit background a plus Experience working in a multi-entity or fast-paced environment Exposure to internal audits, SOX, or compliance frameworks Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.) Paid time off and holidays Full Benefits, PTO, Flex Schedule All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
