A fast-growing construction company in Bushnell, Florida (conveniently located near Wildwood, The Villages, Leesburg and approximately 45 minutes south of Ocala) is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for more than just their next accounting role — the position offers strong potential to advance into a Controller role and ultimately become a key member of the senior management team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play an important role in the company's financial reporting, month-end close, accounting operations, and continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage general ledger activity, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close Prepare account reconciliations and support monthly financial statements Ensure accounting activities are accurate and compliant with

U.S. GAAP

Prepare financial reports and analysis for the CFO, owner, and senior management Help improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial systems Provide guidance and support to other members of the Accounting team

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 4-6 years of hands-on corporate/private company accounting experience Strong financial statement preparation and account reconciliation experience Solid knowledge of
