The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end closing processes. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, analytical, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Assist with payroll journal entries and expense tracking Support budgeting and financial analysis activities Maintain accurate documentation and support for audits Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience preferred Experience in manufacturing with inventory exposure Experience with accounting software QuickBooks (QBO) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups) Familiarity with Fishbowl is strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Why Join Us We offer a collaborative work environment where employees are valued and supported.
