Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger management, month-end close procedures, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and sub-ledger oversight (AP/AR). The ideal candidate brings a solid grasp of GAAP, hands-on full-cycle experience, and the ability to drive accurate financial reporting.

General Ledger & Month-End Close:
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjusting entries; assist in driving the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.Account Reconciliations:
Perform monthly bank reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations, and intercompany tie-outs to ensure data integrity.Full-Cycle Sub-Ledger Oversight:
Oversee and process full-cycle Accounts Payable (3-way matching, invoice coding, check runs) and Accounts Receivable (cash applications, aging analysis, billing adjustments).Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Assist in preparing monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement) and variance analysis for management review.Audit & Compliance Support:
Maintain clean schedules and documentation to support annual external audits, tax filings, and internal controls.What We're Looking For:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.Experience:
1-2+ years of hands-on, full-cycle accounting experience (GL, journal entries, month-end close).Technical Skills:
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formulas) and proficiency with ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP).Core Competencies:
Solid knowledge of GAAP, meticulous attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, and clear written/verbal communication skills.Skills:
Month-End Close (2 years of experience is preferred)Balance Sheet ReconciliationsJournal EntriesGeneral LedgerMicrosoft ExcelAccount Reconciliation (1 year of experience is preferred)Financial Reporting (2 years of experience is preferred)QuickBooks (1 year of experience is preferred)Account Payable (1 year of experience is preferred)Accounts Receivable (1 year of experience is preferred)GAAP Qualifications:
