This role partners closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate job costing, billing, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and complete financial records for assigned projects from initiation through completion Set up new projects within accounting system and review contract terms Monitor and track job costs, budgets, and project profitability Prepare and submit monthly billings, including AIA progress billing and draw packages Review and process subcontractor invoices, change orders, and purchase orders Ensure timely payments to vendors and subcontractors and track lien waivers/releases Reconcile project-related accounts and investigate discrepancies Assist Project Managers with financial reporting, forecasting, and cost analysis Manage accounts receivable collections and ensure timely receipt of client payments Support month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a Plus 3-5+ years of experience in project accounting, preferably within construction or general contracting Strong understanding of job costing, WIP, and construction billing practices Experience with accounting software such as Sage, Timberline, Procore, Deltek, or Vista preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of lien waivers, subcontractor billing, and contract compliance Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Key Skills Job costing & budget tracking Construction/project accounting processes Financial analysis & reporting Contract and change order management Communication & cross-functional collaboration Preferred Experience Experience working with a General Contractor a plus Familiarity with AIA billing and construction financial workflows Proven track record managing multiple projects simultaneously Full Benefits, PTO, Flex Schedule All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
