Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Accountant to join our team and drive excellence in financial management within our manufacturing operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee complex accounting processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the financial health of our manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, a passion for accuracy, and the ability to interpret financial data to support strategic decision-making. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Prepare excess and obsolete inventory analysis. Work with warehouse team on perpetual inventory counts and reconcile with ERP system. Conduct EOM "Materials to Inspect" counts and reconcile with ERP system. Examine inventory adjustments for reasonability. Investigate and resolve any irregularities. Reconcile inventory accounts with general ledger to assist in month-end close. Research any anomalies to COGS. Examine items on a BOM for arrival dates and JIT scheduling. Perform cost variance analysis, highlighting negative or positive trends. Perform BOM audits. Follow parts through the acquisition and sales channels for cost analysis. Evaluate excess purchases for reasonability. Determine whether excess is being billed back to customer. Maintain support for freight costs and reconcile with vendor/customer billings. Record all vendor MRBs, obtain credit memos and disposition the items. Reconciliation of purchase orders & receiving reports with vendor invoices. Reconciliation of packing slips with invoices & filing of records. Processing of vendor invoices and payables. Maintain positive relations with customers and communicate with customers regarding payments. Matching of vendor RMA's with related invoices and credit memos. Investigation of any vendor or customer discrepancies. Support, develop, and recommend continuous process improvements and internal controls. Provide backup and support for other accounting functions as needed, including special projects as assigned. Prepare reports as required for management. Requirements BA/BS in Accounting. 4-6 years accounting experience. Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and internal controls. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in auditing or inventory management. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office. The ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ability to work in a team environment. Manufacturing experience preferred.

Excellent communication skills for mentoring team members and collaborating across departments. Experience with GAAP standards, general ledger reconciliation, and account reconciliation procedures.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
