Job Description The Cash Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate cash records, completing bank reconciliations, supporting month-end close, and ensuring cash activity is properly recorded in our systems. The ideal candidate is organized, enjoys solving discrepancies with excellent attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Record and reconcile daily cash activity across 17 cash drawers and 6 bank accounts. Complete monthly bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve variances in a timely manner. Prepare and post journal entries related to cash transactions, transfers, deposits, and adjustments. Monitor cash activity and support internal reporting and cash-related schedules. Ensure accurate cash posting and documentation. Partner with internal departments to research cash discrepancies and improve accuracy and efficiency. Assist with month-end close tasks, including supporting schedules. Support additional accounting duties and special projects as needed. Qualifications 1+ years of accounting experience. Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a high-volume transaction environment. Multi-entity or multi-location accounting experience. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Familiarity with month-end close and financial reporting processes. Experience improving reconciliation processes or implementing efficiencies. Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data sorting/filtering, and reconciliation tools.

$55,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
