Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support our rapidly growing multi-location building materials operation across Central Florida. This role plays a key part in strengthening financial reporting, internal controls, and scalable accounting processes across multiple branches. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills and the ability to build structure, stability, and scalable processes as the organization continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Close Lead monthly and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial statements for multiple branch locations Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Record and review journal entries, accruals, and allocations Perform intercompany and multi-location reconciliations Build and maintain financial reports Controls & Compliance Maintain strong internal controls across all locations Assist with external audits and prepare required documentation Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Assist with sales tax filings and other regulatory compliance requirements Process Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes across locations Improve reporting accuracy and efficiency within ERP systems and financial workflows Assist with system implementations or upgrades as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and month-end close processes Experience with multi-entity and multi-branch accounting preferred Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling) Experience working with ERP accounting systems preferred Key Competencies High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset Join us as a Senior Staff Accountant to play a key role in maintaining our financial integrity while advancing your career in a dynamic environment. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
