Job Description
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will process financial transactions of the organization on the General Ledger computer system, perform audit and checking functions in accordance with instructions, issue vendor payments and travel reimbursements as necessary and prepare and issue financial reports as directed.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare input sheets for vendor payments and travel reimbursements in accordance with instructions. 2. Audit and verify checks and documentation, prepare deposits in accordance with instructions. 3. Prepare necessary journal entries on a regular basis and submit for approval. 4. Prepare currently and accurately all necessary financial reports and submit for approval. 5. Reconcile all accounts on a monthly basis. 6. Maintain files and records in an efficient and orderly manner. 7. Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the organization and community. 8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance. 9. Proof all work submitted to Director of Finance.AUTHORITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY
The incumbent is delegated full authority necessary for the effective performance of the responsibilities assigned, within the restrictions of applicable SREC policies and instructions, and is fully accountable to the Director of Finance for his/her performance.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
1. College graduate with Accounting Degree. 2. Training and experience in computer operations , Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook. 3. Two years experience in general accounting work. 4. Mature and emotional stability with the ability to get along with people and follow directions.SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bondable Must have valid Florida driver's license. Must have valid vehicle insurance. Must be a resident of the SREC, Inc. service area.Job Type:
