In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of various projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining accurate financial records. Duties Prepare, review, and analyze project-specific financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards such as GAAP and regulatory requirements. Manage project accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable processing, and cash flow analysis. Conduct detailed account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations, to maintain integrity of financial data. Oversee project cost tracking, budget monitoring, and forecasting activities to support effective financial management. Assist with audit preparations by providing detailed documentation of project transactions and supporting schedules. Interpret complex financial data through Excel data analysis techniques including VLOOKUP functions, spreadsheets management, and technical accounting practices. Mentor junior staff members on accounting procedures, financial concepts, and software usage to foster team development. Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate project billing, invoicing, and compliance with contractual obligations. Skills Bachelors Degree is required Experience in project accounting or within the real estate field is highly preferred Proficiency in financial analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel—particularly in spreadsheet management, data analysis functions like VLOOKUP, and report writing. Ability to interpret complex financial statements and provide insightful analysis for decision-making. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for account reconciliation and journal entry accuracy. Effective mentoring skills to support team development in technical accounting practices. Strong communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with budgeting processes, accrual accounting methods, cash flow forecasting, and general ledger reconciliation.
