Job Description
Please note that this position is located exclusively out of our corporate office in Naples, Florida. Position Summary The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions of Zoom Tan. This position performs advanced accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and month-end close responsibilities across multiple locations and business entities. The Senior Accountant works closely with the Chief Financial Officer to ensure financial information is accurate, complete, and timely while helping maintain strong accounting processes and internal controls. Responsibilities & Duties Perform general ledger accounting, including preparing and posting journal entries and maintaining supporting documentation. Prepare and review bank, balance sheet, and other account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Support monthly, quarterly, and yearend closing processes. Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting analyses for management. Maintain accurate accounting records across multiple locations and business entities. Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions as needed. Analyze account activity and financial results to identify unusual transactions, trends, or variances. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, tax filings, and financial reporting requirements. Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with established accounting policies and procedures. Support the Accounting Manager with maintaining internal controls and improving accounting processes. Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting procedures. Provide guidance and support to other Accounting Department employees as needed. Partner with other departments to research and resolve accountingrelated questions. Perform additional accounting and financial responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 3 to 5+ years of accounting experience preferred. Experience working with NetSuite strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, monthend close, and financial reporting. Multilocation or multientity accounting experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills. Ability to independently manage multiple accounting responsibilities and deadlines. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism.
