Job Description

Company Overview:
L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs and Violence) is a rapidly growing non-profit with a mission to create healthier, safer communities free from drugs, bullying and violence. We provide the leadership, resources and management to ensure that law enforcement agencies have the means to partner with educators, community leaders and families to foster violence and substance use prevention in local schools and communities. We succeed by providing proven effective programs to deter youth and adults from drug abuse, drug related crimes, bullying and violence. We are well known for training law enforcement to deliver the Botvin LifeSkills Training programs to school aged children throughout the nation.
Job Overview:
L.E.A.D. is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, on site in our office in Naples, Florida. This position will be responsible for day-to-day staff accountant tasks such as maintaining A/P and A/R, invoicing, and general accounting/reconciliation duties, as well as helping with our annual audit.
Qualifications:
Must be proficient in Quick Books (online) Experience in preparation of financial reports and schedules Proficiency in invoicing and customer relationships Knowledge of accounting principles and practices Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or Associate degree with 5+ years experience working in accounting office Experience with non-profit organizations is HIGHLY desirable
