Senior Accountant SA Talent Solutions North Miami Beach, FL Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $85,000 a year 1 hour ago Qualifications CPA Bachelor's degree GAAP QuickBooks Cash management Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and job costing for active construction and development projects Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage project-level cost tracking, budget-to-actual analysis, and WIP (work-in-progress) schedules Coordinate with project managers on draw requests, lien waivers, and construction loan compliance Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures Manage cash flow forecasting and banking relationships Oversee tax compliance and coordinate with external CPA firms/auditors Supervise and mentor accounting staff Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 7+ years of accounting experience, with real estate development or construction industry experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, and construction draw processes Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Procore, or similar) Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
