We are working with an established aviation organization seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support its day to day accounting operations. This position will play an important role in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month end close, payroll accounting, accounts receivable, tax filings, and financial reporting support. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment where accuracy and confidentiality are essential. What You'll Do Process hourly and salaried payroll and record related general ledger journal entries Prepare and process customer invoices while maintaining accurate customer records Monitor customer accounts for nonpayment, delayed payments, and other account irregularities Reconcile daily bank activity and record cash receipts and other cash related transactions Prepare and record month end journal entries Reconcile sales and cost of sales activity to the general ledger Support forecasting and financial planning processes Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations Research and resolve reconciling items accurately and in a timely manner Support external and bank audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests Prepare annual 1099 and property tax filings Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns Track capital expenditure projects and coordinate project closeout activities Support additional accounting and financial responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For 2-4 years of accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred Experience processing payroll and recording payroll related accounting transactions Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations Experience with month end close processes Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality Preferred Experience Experience with UKG Ready strongly preferred Aviation industry experience strongly preferred Experience with Quantum strongly preferred Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus Ideal Candidate We're looking for a professional who is: Detail oriented and analytical Organized and able to manage multiple priorities Proactive and results oriented Comfortable working under deadlines A strong problem solver Collaborative and able to work effectively across departments Committed to accuracy and following assignments through to completion Able to build strong working relationships throughout the organizat

Pay:
