Job Description
Key Responsibilities Multi-Entity Financial Operations:
Direct full-cycle accounting—including month-end/year-end close, GL reconciliations, payroll, and fixed assets—for three transportation companies and a parent holding company.GAAP Reporting & Analytics:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP; analyze financial trends to deliver strategic insights for leadership.Audit, Tax & Governance:
Lead external audit coordination, oversee tax filings, and establish internal controls to protect assets and ensure regulatory compliance.Treasury & FP&A:
Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment strategies while assisting with budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial modeling.Systems, Leadership & Support:
Streamline accounting systems, mentor team members, collaborate across departments, and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.salary:

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3-7 years of accounting experience strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles. Experience with accounting software systems, McLeod (and QuickBooks) a plus. strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
