What You'll Do As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the accounting and finance organization by ensuring accurate financial reporting, improving processes, and providing meaningful analysis that helps drive business decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare financial analyses, reports, and special projects for management. Support the accounts payable function and assist with departmental accounting processes. Coordinate and process weekly payment runs. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Reconcile general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy and data integrity. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors. Assist with revenue and expense analysis, including brand and cost allocations. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency. What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience working in a mid-size or large corporate environment (experience with companies exceeding $100 million in annual revenue is preferred). Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze large volumes of financial transactions accurately. Preferred Qualifications Solid understanding of
U.S. GAAP.
Experience working with ERP systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify issues, recommend practical solutions, and follow through on implementation. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
