Job Description

About the Position We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with club management and multiple departments, including Membership, Food & Beverage, Events, and Clubhouse Operations. Responsibilities Prepare month-end journal entries. Perform bank, credit card, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations. Manage and reconcile member accounts, payments, charges, and deposits. Process vendor invoices and assist with accounts payable. Assist with payroll accounting and payroll-related reconciliations. Monitor daily cash receipts and deposits. Track departmental revenues and expenses. Support annual audits reporting. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies. Maintain accurate and confidential financial records. Provide accounting support to club management and department heads. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 4+ years of accounting experience preferred. Hospitality, country club, golf club, or membership organization experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Experience with member billing and POS systems is desirable. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Professional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
