Since 1997, the organization has expanded its services across inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care settings throughout Pinellas County and the surrounding area, fostering a community-focused approach to healthcare. Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Internal Medicine Practice. The ideal candidate will support the Practice Leaders in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance/Accounting Department. Performs a variety of tasks and works collaboratively with others to ensure Payroll and Financial statements are accurate. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA eligible. 4 years of experience as Accountant or similar role, preferably with Medical Practice experience. Thorough knowledge of basic accounting principles. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process. Hands on experience with Accounting software, particularly Quickbooks. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; a sense of ownership and pride in performance.
