Staff Accountant:

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate variances
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Support financial statement preparation and reporting activities
• Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
• Assist with fixed asset accounting, accruals, and prepaid expense schedules
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls Qualifications for the

Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in corporate accounting or public accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Experience with ERP or accounting software systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
