Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant who is detail-oriented, maintains high ethical standards and confidentiality, is process-driven, able to implement systems and execute processes with proficiency. Staff Accountant must be knowledgeable in GAAP, business processes, systems, and internal controls, and committed to ensure responsibilities are completed timely, accurately, and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Participating in a full range of accounting duties within the finance department, including accounts payables and receivables, supporting the review and execution of compliance accounting through SAGE accounting software as well as QuickBooks Analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts documenting business transactions through performing internal audits, assisting with month-end closings, posting journal entries, and preparing financial reports. Creating and executing detailed invoicing processes for customers on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis, with accuracy. Accounts payables management with accuracy and timeliness. Calculating and filing monthly sales tax. Supporting the Leadership with analysis as needed. Assists with the development of processes for time management, procedures, and internal controls. Other duties and projects as may be needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. 3+ years of accounting/finance experience in a corporate setting. Demonstrate a sound understanding of accounting principles (GAAP). Critical thinker and problem solver. Detail oriented, able to manage and execute deadlines. Trustworthy, maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality. Proficient in software platforms, such as MS Office (Excel), accounting systems (experience with SAGE 50 accounting a plus), pivot tables, file sharing such as Google Workspace, OneDrive, etc. Team player as well as an independent worker. Uphold best practices and compliance standards. Dedicated, self-starter, motivated by excellence and quality. Communicate well with vendors, clients, and internal departments. Motivated to take on new responsibilities and grow.
