Hours:
Mon-Fri 8-5pm
Type:
3+ month contract, possible to perm based on performance Pay rate: $30 hr.
Summary:
This is a professional accounting position, which reports to the Director of Accounting and works independently with minimal supervision in computing, analyzing, interpreting, and posting for the purpose of preparing financial reconciliations and financial reports. The incumbent will make independent decisions to ensure timely completion of all responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post journal entries in Great Plains as needed.
  • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as required.
  • Assist with bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Work collaboratively with the accounting team to meet month-end deadlines.
  • Assist with various ad-hoc accounting projects and special assignments as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
