Experience Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the company's financial close and reporting processes while collaborating with internal stakeholders across various departments. The Senior Accountant will contribute to the preparation of accurate financial information, ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, and help drive process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional eager to take the next step in their career. Responsibilities of theSenior Accountant:
Manage the accounting close cycle by preparing financial data, reviewing transactions, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting periods. Perform financial analysis, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance while researching and resolving variances to support the integrity of financial records. Assist with SOX reporting as well as SEC 10-Q and 10-K filings. Support internal and external reporting requirements by assisting with regulatory filings, audit requests, compliance documentation, and adherence to accounting policies and internal controls. Collaborate with Finance and Operational teams on forecasting, budgeting, intercompany transactions, and other accounting initiatives while identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficiency. Assist with special projects and other corporate accounting responsibilities as assigned in support of the organization's financial objectives. Required Experience/Skills for theSenior Accountant:
5- 7+ years of accounting experience.
Senior Accountant:
Experience with complex Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, and macros is preferred. Background in a complex, multi-site, large organizational structure is preferred. CPA designation or active CPA candidacy is highly preferred.Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.Benefits:
