Role Description The Accountant role at DAVIDOR will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. This role will prepare and review financial reports, support budgeting and forecasting, track inventory and cost of goods sold, and ensure accurate recording of retail and wholesale transactions. The Accountant will report directly to the CFO. The position involves close collaboration with leadership and operations to provide clear financial insights for decision-making. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Weston, FL. Qualifications Strong general accounting skills, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger management, bank reconciliations, and month-end close. Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, preferably in retail or luxury goods environments. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and comfort working with large data sets and spreadsheets. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax basics, and internal control best practices, with attention to compliance and audit readiness. Ability to analyze inventory, margins, and cost of goods sold, and to support pricing and profitability assessments. Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
