Job DescriptionJob Description Job Description SmartWAVE Technologies is creating a new management position and seeks a qualified Senior Accountant/Controller to join our company to take over all day-to-day activities of our accounting department and to help offload such tasks from the CFO. This is a full-time role based in Alpharetta, GA. This position will report directly to the CFO. The ideal candidate will work closely with the
CEO & CFO
on a wide variety of tasks from the standard monthly and ad-hoc reporting to special projects. This is the perfect role for someone looking to move beyond the mundane world of the big corporations and a clear path to the CFO role. As a member of the SmartWAVE Family, you'll be joining one of the top Wireless Centrix companies in U.S. Responsibilities Oversee and supervise all activities of the accounting department (currently there will be (2) employees that will report to this position) Will assist and oversee all aspects of AR and AP, including purchasing Monthly bank and investment account reconciliations Prepare and maintain accounting records and financial statements Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, along with monthly financial reporting package to be presented to company management Assisting CFO with all Budgeting and Forecasting needs Track and recognize revenue for all Support Contracts Oversee preparation of supporting schedules for sales tax and personal property tax returns as required. Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements (annual business license filings) Insurance and auto tag renewals Oversight of all payroll functions through ADP (eventually, but not initially)

Ideal Candidate Bachelor's degree in accounting with a thorough understanding of
ACCOUNTING
principles 7+ progressive years of experience.
CPA A PLUS!
Experience with QuickBooks, a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook required Naturally organized. You are able to effectively manage multiple work streams that span topics and stakeholders. Ability to multi-task.
