Senior Staff Accountant / Accounting Professional We're partnering with a flexible and employee-focused organization to hire an experienced accounting professional who can take ownership of the accounting function and operate independently in a highly collaborative environment. What You'll Be Doing ? Manage general accounting activities including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and month-end close ? Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP ? Support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and cash flow analysis ? Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement ? Assist with audits, internal controls, process documentation, and compliance initiatives ? Partner cross-functionally with HR, Operations, and Finance teams ? Support treasury activities, cash forecasting, and banking functions ? Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff ? Assist with payroll as needed What They're Looking For ? 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience ? Previous experience as a Staff Accountant with strong hands-on accounting knowledge ? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ? CPA or CMA preferred, or actively pursuing certification ? Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting ? Advanced Excel and financial systems experience ? Self-starter mentality with strong attention to detail ?
