Job Description
- Review and process capital-asset purchase requests in accordance with approved CAPEX policies
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of the fixed-asset subledger to general ledger balances and investigate and resolve differences
- Prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed-asset closing entries and complete related close procedures
- Maintain fixed-asset tax ledgers, prepare roll-forwards, and maintain and close Asset Management records
- Prepare documentation and data for internal and external audits, quarterly reviews, and SOX compliance
- Advise cross-functional teams on fixed-asset policies, CAPEX versus OPEX classification, and documentation requirements
- Monitor and implement fixed-asset internal controls to preserve reporting integrity and identify risks

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, fixed-asset subledgers, and general ledger reconciliation
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with business-intelligence reporting tools
- Experience supporting internal or external audits; SOX and ERP experience preferred
