Senior Accountant -
Manufacturing Who:
Experienced Senior Accountant with 5-6+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
What:
Manage financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations, month-end close, and accounting process improvements.
When:
Full-time, Monday through Friday.

Salary:

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end close, general ledger management, and accounting operations within an established industrial organization. This is a hands-on senior-level position requiring strong technical accounting knowledge, independent decision-making, and the ability to manage complex accounting responsibilities with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Prepare journal entries and manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end close activities. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Maintain gross margin reports and calculate sales commissions. Support accounts payable, lease accounting, corporate credit cards, and revenue recognition. Prepare audit schedules, tax documentation, and regulatory reports. Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal controls. Lead accounting process improvements and system enhancement projects. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5-6+ years of progressive accounting experience. Minimum 2 years of SAP experience. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial accounting principles. Demonstrated ownership of month-end close activities. Experience in corporate or manufacturing accounting. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
CPA designation or active pursuit, IFRS knowledge, and experience in manufacturing, industrial, or multi-entity organizations.
