$60,000-$65,000/year

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00

Full-Time, Onsite, Non-Exempt Position Summary The Junior Accountant supports the Accounting team with daily transactions, cost accounting, inventory accounting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close activities. This role works closely with production and procurement teams and is well suited for an early-career accounting professional seeking hands-on manufacturing accounting experience. Key Responsibilities Record and reconcile AP, AR, and general ledger transactions. Assist with month-end and year-end close. Support inventory costing, cycle counts, and variance analysis. Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts. Track fixed assets and depreciation schedules. Assist with COGS calculations and project cost tracking. Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules. Gather documentation for internal and external audits. Assist with sales tax filings and compliance reporting. Coordinate with production and procurement teams on cost-related matters.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 0-2 years of related accounting experience; internships may qualify. Strong written and spoken English for business communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work accurately with financial data, percentages, ratios, and related calculations. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship is available for this role.
Preferred:
Familiarity with cost accounting and/or manufacturing environments. Coursework or experience in financial or cost accounting. ERP experience such as SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. CPA track or progress toward certification.
