This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working with the details while also understanding how their work supports accurate financial reporting and a successful month-end close. You will work closely with the Accounting Manager and Finance team to maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, support reporting, and ensure transactions are properly documented. What You'll Do Prepare and post journal entries with accurate supporting documentation Perform monthly account reconciliations and research and resolve discrepancies Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Prepare financial schedules and reports Maintain fixed asset and prepaid schedules Prepare supporting documentation for audits Provide accounting support related to AP, AR, payroll, and cash transactions Assist with process improvements, special projects, and other Finance initiatives
What We're Looking For Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of general accounting experience Working knowledge of GAAP and accounting controls Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred:
Experience working with ERP systems such as Sage or NetSuite CPA candidate or CPA certification Why This Role? We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, analytical, and comfortable taking ownership of their work.
