Accounting Intern Schedule:

Hours:
Up to 15 hours per week
Minimum Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a college or university. Candidate must be pursuing a degree in accounting or related degree and have a GPA of 3.0 or better.
Preferred Skills:
Self
  • motivated with a high level of initiative, able to work independently and possibly virtually.
Good problem-solving skills. Experience working with or in a structured process. High Microsoft Excel proficiency Good communication, presentation, and team skills. Good organizational and time management skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong data analysis and reporting skills. Attention to detail. Be able to prioritize and multitask the weekly reporting
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inventory costing roll up Monitor inventory and investigate unusual items in inventory Monitor and review job cost study data and investigate/correct unusual items Assist Plant Controller in meeting plant objectives Assist with the monthly financial closing process Maintenance of general ledger and account reconciliations Communicate effectively with all levels of plant and administrative associates Printpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
