Serves as the liaison between the organization and Spanish-speaking clients or colleagues, communicating accounting and tax concepts accurately in both languages. Responsibilities Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses. Prepare, analyze, and certify financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of accounting records. Support internal and external audits and ensure regulatory compliance (IRS and the state). Advise Spanish-speaking clients on accounting and tax matters in their language. Translate and interpret financial documentation between English and Spanish. Identify opportunities for tax optimization and process improvement. Maintain the confidentiality and safeguarding of financial information. Requirements and experience Active CPA license. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, tax, & audit. Fully bilingual
English/Spanish:
professional-level speaking and writing in both languages. Solid command of US GAAP and U.S. tax regulations. Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Skills Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor. Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines, especially during tax season. Clear, professional communication with clients and teams in both languages. Critical thinking to resolve accounting and tax issues. Professional ethics, discretion, and responsible handling of confidential information. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Preferred qualifications Experience at a CPA firm or professional services firm. Knowledge of tax software such as MyTaxPrep Office. Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft 365 & CRM). Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Business Administration (MBA). Additional certifications (CMA, CIA, EA). Experience serving Hispanic clientele or U.S.-Latin America cross-border markets.

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
