This role is suited for an accounting candidate with early-career experience who can support daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and contribute to timely reporting. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in general ledger activity, journal entry preparation, and corporate tax support while working effectively in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate monthly accounting activity and financial recordkeeping. Reconcile general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and help maintain the integrity of financial data. Assist with corporate tax-related tasks, including gathering documentation and supporting return preparation processes. Manage sales tax reporting activities by compiling required information and helping ensure timely filings. Support month-end and year-end close procedures through account analysis and preparation of supporting schedules. Maintain organized accounting documentation and provide clear records for internal review and external reporting needs. Partner with finance colleagues to resolve accounting issues and improve the accuracy and efficiency of routine processes. At least 1 year of accounting experience in a staff accountant or similar position. Working knowledge of corporate tax concepts and exposure to corporate tax return support. Experience handling sales tax processes, reporting, or related compliance activities. Ability to prepare journal entries and work with general ledger accounts accurately. Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and analytical skills. Proficiency with standard accounting systems and spreadsheet tools. Effective written and verbal communication skills in a detail-focused setting.
