Job Description
Senior Accountant, Senior Staff Accountant - Our client seeks a Senior Accountant to support the financial operations. You will earn a starting salary up to $100,000 per year, based on your experience. Plus, enjoy an excellent company benefits package. You will work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm in a hybrid setting. Some of your responsibilities as Senior Accountant will include: Preparing and analyzing financial statements Preparing and analyzing financial reports, annual budgets, forecasts and more Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities Managing regulatory filings 401K auditing Maintaining accurate accounting records Serving as primary accounting resource for payroll, employee benefits and more Incentive calculations Partnering with other departments to support employee compensation and benefit programs while ensuring accurate financial reporting Continuous process improvements Managing accounting, reporting, and payment processes Serving as back-up resource for cost allocation and analysis Other duties as assigned To qualify for this Senior Accountant position, you must have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations and more Experience supporting payroll, employee benefits and more Experience with budgeting, forecasting, regulatory reporting and process automation a plus CPA required Proficiency with HRIS/payroll, financial systems Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Strong analytical skills Problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills - verbal and written Financial reporting experience with strong focus on GAAP accounting If you are interested in learning more, then please submit your resume for immediate and confidential consideration.
