Job Summary Axium Packaging is a leading manufacturer of packaging components for multinational consumer products. With a strong entrepreneurial culture, in-house design studios, advanced tool shops, and state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, we bring innovation and efficiency to every stage of the packaging lifecycle. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial concepts, and proficiency in accounting software. Responsibilities Prepare and distribute accurate accounting entries, reports and reconciliations on a consistent and timely basis Monthly Reconciliation of company- wide inventory Perform monthly internal reconciliations for assigned accounts Provide data support to internal and external auditors regarding revenue and sales analytics Perform testing results to maintain adequate internal controls Analyze monthly results for P&L trends for responsible plants Provide monthly data to management, comparing financial statement data and general ledger information Document procedures to provide better compliance and understanding of job functions Coordinate Intercompany Payable/ Intercompany Receivable reconciliations between parent company and subsidiaries Bank Reconciliations Responsible for cost accounting Sub-Ledger Reconciliations Year End- Audit Requirement compilation Approve & Reconcile Payroll Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience required Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred Proven experience with advanced accounting required Advanced problem solving and analysis for resolution Working Knowledge of an ERP System is required. SAP is a Plus Solid background in manufacturing cost accounting Knowledge of Advanced Excel Knowledge of Full Cycle AP & AR, Approve AR & AP Batches Join our team and contribute your expertise in driving our financial success while enjoying a collaborative work environment that values professional growth!
