Job Description:
Senior Accountant - General Ledger & Financial Reporting We are partnering with a growing, fast-paced organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This role is ideal for candidates coming directly from public accounting or those who have recently transitioned into industry. Experience working with publicly traded manufacturing companies or similar industries is highly preferred. This position will have a strong focus on General Ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and
U.S. GAAP
compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and thrives in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations and balance sheet analyses. Ensure accurate and timely month-end close activities. Apply strong
U.S. GAAP
knowledge to support financial reporting and accounting processes. Assist with financial statement preparation and account analyses. Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies. Collaborate cross-functionally to support accounting and reporting initiatives. Maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Public accounting experience is highly preferred, ideally supporting publicly traded clients. Manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. CPA designation or progress toward CPA certification is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus. Candidates who began their careers in public accounting and have recently moved into industry are encouraged to apply.
