Takes ownership and accountability for your work Has exceptional attention to detail Is highly organized and dependable Thinks critically and enjoys solving problems Can identify an issue and take the initiative to resolve it Communicates confidently and professionally Is comfortable working directly with company leadership Can manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail Maintains a high level of confidentiality and integrity Enjoys improving processes rather than simply following them Brings a positive, professional \can-do\ attitude Works independently while contributing as a strong team member Qualifications Required 4+ years of accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience Demonstrated experience managing high-volume payroll Strong knowledge of: Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable General Ledger Bank Reconciliations Financial Reporting Experience with payroll tax filings and year-end reporting Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills Working knowledge of GAAP Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field Experience with payroll tax compliance Experience working with a service-based company and hourly workforce Experience working directly with company ownership or senior leadership Experience identifying and implementing accounting or administrative process improvements A Role With Real Responsibility This is not a position where you will simply be processing paperwork and checking boxes.
