full-time Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant About the Opportunity We are seeking a Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. This position is being added to support a long-tenured accounting department and help manage a growing workload. The role offers an excellent opportunity for either an early-career accounting professional or someone who is looking for stability, mentorship, and long-term growth. The location employs approximately 20 team members, including a highly experienced accounting team with several employees who have been with the company for 10-30 years. Position Summary This role will focus primarily on day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities while also supporting month-end close and reconciliation activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the accounting team to help maintain accurate financial records, support operational needs, and assist with special projects as needed.

Approximately:

80% bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting support 20% reconciliations, month-end close support, and related accounting functions Key Responsibilities Perform bank reconciliations Complete vendor account reconciliations Process waivers and releases Assist with accounts payable activities and backlog cleanup as needed Support accounts receivable functions when necessary Review and process employee timesheets and hours Reconcile sales commissions Assist with month-end close activities Support lien waiver documentation, including

forms when applicable Provide general bookkeeping and accounting support as assigned Help address urgent accounting issues and operational priorities as they arise Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent bookkeeping experience Strong reconciliation and bookkeeping experience Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Experience with lien waivers, releases, and construction-related documentation is a plus Familiarity with
