On-site, 5 days/week The Opportunity A leading national construction company is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant. This hands-on role offers broader ownership than a standard GL position, supporting multi-state operating companies, joint ventures, and full-cycle close alongside executive leadership. Why This Role Is Open Driven by regional expansion, a strong project pipeline, and investments in financial systems, the company is adding corporate accounting depth to support ongoing growth and operational complexity. What You Will Be Part Of Join an experienced corporate accounting team partnering directly with the Controller, AP, and project teams. This role provides rare, cross-functional exposure across financial reporting, payroll, tax compliance, cash management, and project accounting.

What You Will Own Month-End Close & Reporting:

Support close for operating and JV entities, including journal entries, accruals, allocations, and revenue tie-outs.

Reconciliations & Cash Management:

Reconcile key balance sheet accounts, monitor daily cash, complete bank reconciliations, and handle positive-pay exceptions.

Payroll & Fixed Assets:

Oversee fixed-asset schedules and prepare semi-monthly payroll, funding, and related entries.

Compliance & Tax:

Manage sales/use tax filings, 1099s, contractor license renewals, and property returns.

Operational Support:

Partner with AP and project teams on coding, receivables, audits, budgeting, and workflow improvements.

Qualifications:

4+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle month-end close ownership. Background in construction, real estate, or project-based accounting. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or active progress preferred). Experience with construction ERPs. Growth Potential Gain executive visibility across complex accounting functions.
