Senior Accountant | $90,00 to $110,000 + Bonus/Benefits We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountantto join a growing finance team. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning key areas of the month-end close, improving processes, and partnering with stakeholders across the business. You'll play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting while contributing to ongoing operational and accounting initiatives. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger. Lead month-end and year-end close activities to ensure timely financial reporting. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and management reports. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls. Analyze financial data and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency. Partner with departments across the organization to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes. Assist with special projects, system implementations, and process optimization initiatives as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Experience managing month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification is a plus. Public accounting experience is a plus. What You'll Bring Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
