Job Description

Omnia Healthcare Group is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining financial reports and statements while supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the department. This role is a fully on-site role, 5-days a week in our corporate office. Responsibilities Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and company policies. Support the timely completion of year-end financial statements, tax returns, and Medicare and Medicaid cost reports. Participate in the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets. Assist in preparing work papers and supporting documentation for Medicare and Medicaid cost report submissions. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. At least three years of accounting experience, including internships. Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and PCC is a plus. Experience in healthcare or skilled nursing accounting is preferred but not required.
