full-time We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance professional to join our team. Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, this position will be responsible for general accounting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and supporting annual budgeting and financial reporting activities. Key Responsibilities Review and process accounts payable invoices, including construction-related invoices, for accuracy and payment. Prepare check registers, EFT payments, and checks for approval. Prepare daily and monthly journal entries, including year-end adjusting entries. Perform account reconciliations, account analyses, and financial analysis. Prepare weekly and monthly accounts payable and payroll reports. Manage the complete billing cycle, including invoicing, accounts receivable, cash receipts, collections, and account maintenance. Prepare and maintain A/R aging, security deposit, and other billing-related reports. Maintain cash receipts and disbursement journals. Prepare monthly and annual sales tax returns and monthly fuel excise tax returns. Maintain the capital asset subsidiary ledger and reconcile it to the general ledger. Assist with annual budget preparation and related financial documentation. Maintain budget-to-actual reports, revenue and expense worksheets, and monthly revenue records. Review account classifications and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable accounting principles. Assist with the preparation of financial statements, schedules, notes, and the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). Perform analytical procedures and provide financial analysis to the Director of Finance. Track, monitor, and maintain

DBE/ACDBE

compliance related to applicable contracts and concession programs. Complete and file required DBE and ACDBE reports. Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. At least 3 years of accounting experience in a professional accounting environment. Experience with general ledger functions and month-end closing processes. Experience preparing financial reports and financial statements. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with accounting software and financial systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, exercise professional judgment, and maintain effective working relationships. Preferred Experience in governmental or public-sector accounting. Knowledge of Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) standards. CPA certification or progress toward CPA preferred. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Experience with Point and other Microsoft products. Familiarity with governmental financial administration, public-agency regulations, and
