At our 254,000 square foot facility, we design, manufacture, assemble and test metal Coil Processing Equipment before shipping and servicing the product around the world. Job Description Perform various clerical duties Allocate expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental procedures Post journal entries to general ledger Assist with month/year end closing cycles Reconcile accounts Balance bank statements Prepare financial reports and accounting statements Serve as backup for payroll/prepare payroll reports Generate summary sheets/reports for use by management or outside accounting firm Proof accounting reports for clerical accuracy Work with outside accounting firm as needed to comply with applicable standards, procedures, and laws Provide assistance & support to company personnel Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Thorough understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures and the ability to train others in related practices and procedures Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Familiarity with Sage 100 or other accounting software Strong ability to multitask Bookkeeping coursework or Associates degree in Accounting required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
