The RoleYour roleAs an Accounting Process Specialist, you will support the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of Kyndryl's financial records. The position focuses on maintaining core accounting processes, producing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable reporting requirements. Your work will balance hands-on transaction processing with analysis and reporting, partnering closely with finance stakeholders to support informed business decisions.

What you will do
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting systems including journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Prepare and post journal entries and ensure timely and accurate period close activities
  • Balance accounts and maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses
  • Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules
  • Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Monitor and develop monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects or business units
  • Investigate and resolve accounting variances and data discrepancies
  • Collaborate with internal finance teams to support audits, controls, and financial reviews Who You AreRequired skills and experience
  • Experience working in core accounting functions such as general ledger, journal entries, or financial close
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Experience preparing or supporting financial statements and reconciliations
  • Ability to analyze financial data and identify variances or issues
  • Experience using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis
  • Attention to detail with the ability to follow defined accounting controls and proceduresPreferred skills and experience
  • Experience supporting month end or year-end close activities
  • Exposure to audit support or internal control processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
