Responsibilities:
Responsible for standard costing, inventory accounting, and capital expenditures. Prepare monthly financial forecasts, weekly forecast updates, financial and operational results analysis, monthly account reconciliation, and inventory analysis. Prepare and post Journal entries Perform monthly account reconciliation is needed Reviews, analyzes, and reports monthly manufacturing variances and plant expenses that can significantly impact job costing such as raw material alloy purchases, alloy inventory, and cost of production labor, outplant, qualification and development, research and development and other indirect costs. Assist in maintaining accurate Bills of Material (BOMs) and manufacturing standards within the ERP system. Cross functional development of departmental budgets including reviews, analysis & periodic reporting of key metrics. Assists internal and external auditors on facility audits. Organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics such as yearly growth, return on assets, return on equity and earnings per share Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc. Study a company's financial data to give advice for guiding business investments and overall Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry Familiarity with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
