Job Summary:
As an Allegion Finance and Accounting Leadership Program Intern, you will contribute meaningful work and make a direct impact to the Allegion finance function. You will gain valuable experience in multiple financial disciplines, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, auditing, internal controls, and long-range planning. You will gain exposure to tools like Hyperion, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power BI. You will interact directly with senior and executive level leadership. What You Will Do:
Work with senior leadership to prepare detailed financial analysis and audit reports to be presented to Allegion's Executive Leadership Team and the Allegion Board of Directors Work with the finance team to develop tools and processes to help Allegion's global finance team eliminate manual work and provide higher levels of analysis and insight to our internal customers Provide critical review, feedback, and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial results to executive leadership Learn about internal controls and Sarbanes Oxley as you execute audit plans and test internal controls Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion What You Need to
Succeed:
Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus but not required General understanding of US GAAP Ability to work in both a team and individual setting Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques A desire to learn, grow and develop What You'll Get from
